Ear Piercing

We offer ear piercing of the lower ear lobe only.  Our physician, Dr. Brannon Perilloux performs our ear piercings.  The patient has to be 6 months or older and have received her 6 month vaccines.

Ear piercing is done with a sterile medical instrument designed for one use only.  The ear lobes will be marked with the intended location.  This will be approved by you the patient and/or you the parent prior to insertion of the earrings.

The earrings inserted are 24K gold plated to minimize the chance of allergic reactions.  After the procedure, you will be given Home Instructions to take care of the earrings and your ear lobes.

If the patient has any of the following, we will not pierce the ears:

  • Bleeding disorder, or taking a blood thinning medication
  • Rheumatic heart disease
  • Diabetes
  • History of keloids or bad scarring
  • Skin conditions that are presently affecting the ear lobes (cysts, psoriasis, eczema, etc.)
  • Recent ear infection (middle ear or swimmer’s ear) within the last 10 days

The cost is $70.00 – payable by cash or credit card.

This is NOT billable to insurance and must be paid in full prior to getting the earrings.

Ear piercing must be scheduled like a regular appointment.
