ADHD Drug Use in Children Not Linked to Adult Height

An analysis of more than 1,000 children with and without attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder found that neither the diagnosis itself nor stimulant treatment was associated with substantial differences in adult height.  The findings appear in the September 2014 journal “Pediatrics”.  We at Associates in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine in Baton Rouge and Zachary are equipped to evaluate and treat students for ADHD.
